Delphine picDelphine Butler, BOst

Delphine is of French origin but grew up in London in a French speaking environment. She graduated from the British School of Osteopathy BSO in London (now know as the University College of Osteopathy) with distinction in 2008. She has worked in Gerrards Cross since then and in various multidisciplinary practices in London and taught as a technique tutor at the BSO. Aside from her current work in Gerrards Cross, she works 2 days in a very busy multidisciplinary practice in central London where she enjoys the interaction with other osteopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists and acupuncturists.

Her own experiences with pregnancy and postnatal care, plus the challenges of sharing time between work and family, led her to a deeper understanding of the area of women’s health. In 2015, Delphine completed a 2 year post graduate qualification in Women’s Health with the Molinari Institute of Health taught by leading osteopaths, gynaecologists, obstetricians and midwives in the field. She now enjoys using all the acquired skills and knowledge to provide the best opportunity to female patients to experience health throughout the various stages of their lives. It was through MIH that the Butlers became involved with the hospital work in India.

Delphine became a certified Pilates instructor in 2010 and she often prescribes Pilates based exercises alongside her osteopathic treatments when needed. She also uses dry needling as an adjunct to her treatments having completed a course with the British Medical Acupuncture Society in 2011.
